Ned Talbot is an economic strategy intern at ASPI USA. Ned is currently pursuing a Masters of International Public Policy at Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies as an Australian Fulbright Scholar. Most recently, Ned was Deputy Consul General at the Australian Consulate General in Houston, Texas, where he led the Australian Government’s economic and political outreach and engagement across Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas and Oklahoma. Prior to this, Ned served in multiple roles in the Australian Government at home and abroad, including Australia’s Embassy in Beijing, as well as the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet, and the Australian Trade and Investment Commission. Ned has a Bachelor of Arts (First Class Honors) from the University of Sydney.
